How to Use F2 - Step by Step Guide

1) Copy F2 files to your server


Connect to your server using an FTP Client and copy all the files in the root of your public folder.

Set the Write Permission (777) to the following files and folders :
•  Folder big_pic
•  Folder small_pic
•  Folder sections
•  File details.mfs

Use chmod command to set the write permission.

Example :
chmod 777 big_pic (this will set the write permission for folder big_pic)
chmod 777 small_pic (this will set the write permission for folder small_pic)
chmod 777 sections (this will set the write permission for folder sections)
chmod 777 details.mfs (this will set the write permission for details.mfs file)

Enter the correct mySQL database information.
•  mySQL server (usually is localhost)
•  mySQL database name
•  mySQL username
•  mySQL password

Click on the install button. If you got any ERROR means that you didn't used the correct database details. Contact your hosting company and ask about your mySQL details.

If you didn't got any ERROR message, you have successfully installed F2 on your server.

3) Setting Up your E-Commerce website using Administration Panel
Go to administration panel http://www.yourdomain.com/aui/ and start setting up your E-Commerce Website.

Default details :
username : admin
password : admin
Don't forget to change your password in the Administration Panel.

This is the first time when you use Administration Panel, a Wizard Control Panel will open.
Follow all the steps in order to set up your E-Commerce Website.

3.1) Main Pages
There are 6 section. All section titles can be changed to yours.
For example : About Us, Our Team, Privacy Policy, Company, Contact Us, View Cart

Enter your section titles and click on Save button.

3.2) Date/Time Style
Date/Time is a small frame in the top-right corner of your E-Commerce Website what display the current date and time in different formats.
Select the Date/Time format what you prefer.

3.3) Colour Theme
You have the possibility to change your E-Commerce Website Colour Theme.
Simple select a colour what you like from the options you have and your E-Commerce Website will be displayed in that colour scheme.

3.4) Background
You can select a background colour or a background patter.
To use a background colour select Background Colour option and press “Save”. After this choose the colour what you like and press “Save Background Colour”.

3.5) Background Pattern Colour
You can skip this step if you select Background Colour option in previous step.
If you selected a patter for background, in this step you can select the patter colour.

3.6) Company Settings
You can set up : 3 company slogans, you company name, copyright signature, welcome title, special offer title, categories title, and contact email.

After you completed all this steps you must
switch to Advanced Control Panel.

4) Advanced Control Panel

In Advanced Control Panel you can make more settings for your E-Commerce website.

:: My Details
Go to My Details section to modify the details what you have set in Wizard Control Panel mode.
Also on My Details Page you can change your administration panel password and your payment details for orders.

:: Style Settings
Change your background colour or patter, date/time style, and website colour scheme in Style Settings section.

:: Main Pages
Set up your page titles and add your text or pictures to each page. You can set a contact form for your contact section.

:: Categories
Add/View/Edit/Delete your products categories in this section.

:: Subcategories
Add/View/Edit/Delete your subcategories.

:: Products
Add products to your subcategories.

:: Sales Details
Your customer personal details and orders are displayed in this section.

:: Search Engines
Enter your website title, description and keywords for your website to make presence in Search Engines.
